Resources for your Family

There has been a flood of ministries that have made free resources available for families during this time. Scroll down to see a list of the resources that we have been made aware of. We will update this as we find out about more. We hope these are a blessing and an encouragement to you and your family!

One resource of special note is this web page put out by FamilyLife: www.familylife.com/notcanceled
This includes numerous resources to help adjust to family life during these unique times!

Devotional Materials

Daily Bible Moment

Our pastors at Christ the King are recording a daily devotional (Monday-Saturday) to encourage families. Click the link above to visit our playlist and watch the devotionals.

Worship online with AFLC congregations across the U.S.

In view of the recent and ongoing COVID-19 health concern sweeping our nation, The AFLC President's Office and AFLC Evangelism & Discipleship are compiling a list of online sermon and service options featuring pastors and churches from our own Association. In addition, our AFLC staff will be recording a weekly worship service, and will be posting those videos online each week. Click the middle photo below to access the most recent video.

We pray that this resource is a blessing to congregations, families, and individuals. We're glad you have chosen to join us for worship!

Love your Neighbor

There are numerous ways that we can be supporting each other in this time. The phone is our friend as we check up on friends and neighbors. We can also mail cards and drawings (enlist the help of your children for this) to shut-ins. Please also consider those that you know who may need food and prescriptions delivered to their doorstep. Use your own creativity! The needs are nearly endless. God uses each and everyone of us to show love to our neighbors!

Support Samaritans Purse

Samaritan’s Purse is at the front lines of medical and material aid for people around the world. They do a great job communicating their impact in ministry. Let’s join them in prayer and financial aid. Maybe we can even join them as a missions trip at some time.
